Touring models

Quick question--
Is it still possible (and not prohibitively expensive!) to bring in 
European BMW's.  I saw an E30 325i Touring at Oktoberfest last week & 
loved it, but I heard a while ago that somehow any chance of bringing 
anything like that in has been blocked, either by NA or one of the 
bazillion government agencies.

While I'm here, if NA is listening, PLEASE bring in the 3-series 
Touring.  THERE IS A MARKET!
