Do the different rates of expansion from heat for iron and aluminum
(when using iron cylinder liners in an aluminum block) cause any
noticeable problems? I would _guess_ poor heat transmission or
distortion of the cylinder shape could occur.
Does anyone know for sure if this is a bad compromise, or is it just
too expensive (or patented)? I thought Porsche had used liners too.
