        Have the same problem on my 1983 733i. It will work the first time
after I program in the code, reqiring you to enter the code before engaging
the ignition, as it should. Subsequent start ups don't reqire any code. How
about yours? Have you tried disconnecting the neg battery cable for a few
minutes? Maybe you just need to clear out your computer.
