I am trying to insolate the alternator whine coming from my radio in my
'88 325is. I tried noise supressors on all power/ground lines to the
head unit, no real effect. I have moved onto the amplifier, which was
hiding in the trunk. I could trace the power/speaker wires that attach
to the amp via a block connector, but I was wondering if anyone had a
pinout for the connector attaching to the amp. i just want to make sure
before I start cutting wires. Alternately, I would remove the amp from
the system, and want to know which wires into the amp I should connect
to bypass. Is there any tech info on such a procedure, or has anyone
done it? Just looking for more helpful suggestions like the one I got
when I started this "little" project. Thanks for any help.
