Synthetic ATF

Does anyone have any thoughts on using Synthetic ATF in the BMW ZF HP auto
transmission?  I have had always used Red Line Synthetic gear oil in my
manual transmissions, and I am thinking about making the switch to Red Line
Synthetic ATF next time I change my tranny oil screen and fluid.  Please
respond via private e-mail, I have not had time to read every digest.
