First, thanks to the folks who pointed out that I could use chassis ground
to reset SI, a Homer Simpson "Dowpp" sound effect is heard here.
To Bob "Many BMWs" Van Epps - I s'pose Satch will answer eventually... but
I can shorten the loop maybe. (see, a guy gets a killer new computer, gets
on the 'net, subscribes to 6 or 11 digests, then goes on a 2-week road trip
in the SO's Duetto. How soon do you think he'll catch up?) - anyway, he
mentioned he's speaking at the national S**b convention (sorry for the
shocking reference) on his way to Monterrey, which may preclude a visit to
O'Fest. I'll pass on the question in case, tho...
and... regarding the Porter Cable polisher: I have one, I use it, I like
it. I know by hand is better, but "my project list is long and my time
short" at home as well. I bought mine at Home Depot for $129, two weeks
later they carried it for the same price with a metal storage/carrying
case, since I've seen it for $119 mail order (discount tool places.) I
love the Griot's catalog, but I usually check around 'cause his prices are
stratospheric!
