CD jammed in changer/settting alarm remote

Hi all,
Am readying '89 750il (102k mi.) for sale, and have two issues to deal with:

1) While switching from disc 5 to 2 the other day on head unit, disc 5 got
jammed in changer. When I select any disc now, all I get is the 'ERR'
message; and the disc will not disengage (visual inspection of disc cartridge
in trunk mounted changer),nor eject.
What do I do? How does one gain access to changer and unload a balky disc
cartridge? Any an all wisdom will be most appreciated.

2) I finally replaced the four watch-type batteries in my switchblade-style
key /remote alarm unit,  but have forgotten how to synchronize the remote
with the alarm system of car. (An answer to this one was posted many moons
ago, but I have lost it and have been unable to find in my archives - in
addition it didn't work at the time I tried it.) Once more, thanks in advance
for any response.
