I recently put Tokico Illumina adjustables on all corners of my '87 325
(E30). I am very satisfied with the performance of the shocks, but only have
the originals to compare with. 

However, I have noticed lately that there may be a leak in one of the front
strut cartridges, so I'm looking closely at that. After I had mine
installed, I did hear from another Tokico user (on a VW front driver) about
early failures on these shocks.

If this turns out to be a leak, I'll have to decide whether to replace them
(under warranty) or just go with adjustable Koni's.
