If you need the E39 528i with Premium Pkg or E39 540i front bumper piece
that replaces the license plate bracket, they are available at BMW dealers
and other sources. Ask for
51-11-8-207-872 Covering (Chrome) $21.72 list
51-11-8-207-873 Rubber Strip $23.60 list
Prices are outrageous, but it looks great, and doesn't give the laser boys
anything to aim at ; - )
Installation is easy. Old one snaps out, new one snaps in.
