Exactly the same thing happened to me (I'm in Ireland) but I couldn't be
sure that the culprits were pigeons! I tried polishing the marks off with
colour restorer (yes, I know that I was only polishing the clear coat),
but to no avail. I found that repeated applications of wax polish helped,
but no doubt only temporarily. Anyone out there have a cure short of of a
respray? Have to go & buy a 12-bore to prevent further problems!
