Nearly correct! I don't use the sandpaper. Just dip a lint free cloth in
paint thinners and wipe the 'bump' a couple of times 'till it is level
with the surrounding paintwork. Leave to harden for a day, then polish it
up. No need to use rubbing compound because there are no scratches.
