I have an '85 E28, so, YMMV, but there is a reset button on the computer
display panel at the right bottom.
press it and the flashing should cease. then enter the time using the 1000,
100, 10, and 1 buttons for the four digits. press the reset button again,
and proceed to the date.
Or read the manual.(NOT)
