2- When accelerating, you can watch and feel the tach go up in
increments of about 200 rpm until you hit 2700-2800 rpm then
it's like the cam kicks in and it pulls and runs smooth.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As per recently learned information, the guibo/hardy/flex disc is
a rubber 'thingamagig' that does between the transmission and the
drivetrain. My friend recently replaced it on his 733i, and *YES* it
made a huge difference in the smoothness with which the car
accelerated. Hope this info helped.
