Michael,

I'm not sure I understand what this means. I had the 15K service and about
9K miles later the oil service light went off. This the point at which I
was trying to reset it. Could you elaborate a little? Here is what ended
up happening:

>Well, I was so excited when I read these instructions that I went out side
>during lunch to try it, and of course it did not work. When I got home
>from work I took the diagram from the FAQ a flashlight, and a small piece
>of monster cable speaker wire (I was going to make sure I had a
>connection) and tried again. Same thing, the light stayed on. The
>diagram agrees perfectly w/ the numbering of the connector on my car so I
>dont think that having the wrong pins could be a problem.
>
>Next I went inside to get my multi meter to see if pin 19 was really a
>ground as it said. What follows next isn't totally clear. As I recall,
>the first time I tested it, pin 19 did not appear to be a ground. Pin 7
>gave me 12V w/ the ignition on. I tested one or two other pins for
>resistance b/t them and ground and for voltage. Then I set my meter to
>measure current and connected it between the 19 and 7 pins. It showed
>something like 1.5mA. This all seemed what I would expect. I went into
>the car after all this and the DAMN light was back to all green. Problem
>is I'm not sure what did it?????????
