Yes. The 'stock' brakes in an E36 M3 are capable of stopping the earth's
rotation; the ones on the 325i are not that good, but more than capable of
handling the extra 10-20hp and torque provided by a chip. Keep in mind these
chips, while definite and enjoyable performance improvers, do not make a
gigantic difference (<=10%).
Regarding Autothority vs Dinan; as Jim (the real expert) has pointed out, if
you're going to make the breather-box mod, do *not* use the Dinan chip,
otherwise they're pretty similar in performance, and Dinan, at least, is
cheaper if purchased from Noble or Bavarian (although they do have a special
offer now of $249 for the new M3 chip).
