I replaced the dual Solex on my '73 2002 with a 32/36DGV Weber.
Performance definitely went up but I don't have any numbers.
There was a low speed driveability problem initially, but I rejetted
according to a letter in the Roundel. Now it's perfect(OK it's
noisier without the stock air cleaner).
