Dinan's probably right, especially if you drive those uneven kathumpety concrete slabs on 85 and 101 regularly. Only one year of driving up and down it daily and 'Jack sounded slap happy in the tail on every concrete seam I hit. The 'best' depends on what you do with your car. Mine is a daily driver so I installed the E46 rear shock mounts and have had no problems in ~50k miles since.
Its a simple job to diy, should take less than an hour, no rear speaker clearance problems.
