[bmw] Considering an early model 750il

I have a bit of a obsession with large german cars.  I already have an 
early model 126 S Class Mercedes Benz photos at 
http://beostar.paunix.org/newmbzpics and I am now looking at the really 
good deals out there on early model 750il's.  Im looking at a few cars 
and have yet to drive one.  I have seen some really good deal on 89's 
and 90's.  Is there any real big "gotcha's" on this paticular vintage 7? 
A matching black 7 would be just the thing to compliment my Mercedes :)
