[bmw] Doors hard to close

The most common (and fortunately simplest to remedy) problem is that the 
plastic cap on the end of the pivoting "C" degrades over time and is simply 
MIA.  Open your doors and locate the C shapped latch (on the door) which 
will pivot when you close the door.  On at least one of your doors, you will 
see the cap (as a model to guide you).  You may find it missing on the hard 
to close door. Missing caps are cheap from a dealer, as a temporary but 
effective fix, you can also use a short piece of rubber fuel line to slip on 
the end of the C piece.
