[bmw] E34 Cigarette lighter broken

The insides of my cigarette lighter in my '92 525i are gone/missing.  I went 
to remove the ashtray assembly to figure out on how to replace/fix everything. 
 I got the ashtray out, but I see no visible screws on how to remove the 
liighter/slide tray assembly.  Anybody here ever do this before?  Would appreciate 
some clues.
