[bmw] Re: Xenon headlights on '99 E39

Normal operation for these headlights is to flip up into normal position 
after about a 3 sec warm-up. With mine they stayed down giving me about 50 ft. of 
light.
Seems my wife likes to rub up against concrete parking lot stops. No, with 
the front of the car! On the right side of the suspension close to the wheel 
there is an antidive sensor which apparently got knocked loose. Jacked it up and 
used channel locks to close the connector around the bar.
My thanks to Tim Roghair at Winslow Motors in Colorado Springs for finding 
the answer for me. The back of my hand to Northwest BMW in Tacoma who couldn't 
be bothered.
