[alfa] Timing Lights NAC

    Lately I've been thinking about getting a newer timing light to check 
the timing on my Alfas and other vehicles (sorry that's it for the alfa 
content). Some of the higher end models state they are compatible with 
distributorless ignition systems (by which I think they are referring to the 
wasted spark type rather than coil-on-plug) while most of the midrange units 
make no mention of DIS compatibility. Is there any reason why a timing light 
would not work with DIS? Some of the models have RPM, dwell and advance 
readouts and I could see the RPM being reported as double its true value, 
but that is the only difference isn't it?
