I'm interested in these seat-covers from Highwood Alfa.  I presume the
process involves: remove the old vinyl, leaving a frame and foam, and then
re-covering the frame and foam with the new leather or vinyl 'cover'.  

How well does this work in terms of having the cover follow the contours of
the foam?  In particular, how do the little 'divots' or indentations at each
side of the seat about a quarter of the way down appear?  How does this
method compare with having seats professionally recovered?  How well does the
30+ year old foam stand up to the handling I imagine this process involves?
Finally, does anyone have close-up photographs of their finished seats
recovered using this method, or of the entire process of recovering?
