[alfa] Re: looking for a bad V6 water pump

I don't have a bad water pump that I can send you, but I am curious about why you want such a puppy. I have often thought about taking an old water pump and removing the impeller and the pulley and welding shut the shaft hole so that the pump becomes nothing more than a water-tight housing. Then, replacing the water pump with that housing and use one of the racing-style in-line electric water pumps (between the radiator and the block) instead. If this is your thought as well, I'd love to know how it works out for you when you get it finished.
