[alfa] RE: What is this box in my GTV?

First, let me apologise for providing a link to no where.  I'll repost the
photo link when I figure out how to actually make it work.  I'll be happy to
send a photo to anyone who's interested, and will appreciate any ideas on
what it is.
 
The box is not the seatbelt interlock, and is definitely aftermarket.  I've
gotten a few suggestions, including fan speed controller, rev limiter, audio
amp, and the admonishment to leave it alone.  I cannot take credit for
lights dimming beyond my small collection of old cars.
