Subject: [alfa] Stuck ignition switch in Milano

Hi everyone,

I went to start up my 89 Verde this morning and after putting the key into
the ignition the switch wouldn't turn. I tried getting some lube inside of
the switch, and after 10 minutes or so gave up. I've never heard of a stuck
ignition switch before. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

If it is not fixable, does anyone know of where I could get a replacement
ignition switch from?

Getting to work this morning was a real PITA!

This is the failure mode that my buddy's Milano's ignition switch experienced. It was sticky for a couple weeks before it totally refused to turn though. He got a new switch from the (sort of) local Alfa specialist.
