RE: [alfa] leather dye on TVR



Yes, he had someone (supposedly a pro) do it - but it is clearly a
laquer-based surface job, and it's coming off when you sit on it.

It's unfortunate, because the seats really were quite nice before the
dye job, at least from what I can see.

Thanks for the help, all - I've got the laquer thinner. I'll get this
stuff off and see what I'm dealing with.

I may just need to order an upholstery set from your connection, Guy :-)

I would agree, Glenn states the previous owner dyed the seats.
