RE: [alfa] Spider trunk release cable

It probably broke right at the release lever or the lever itself broke.
Remove the screws that attach the trim piece holding the release lever
and pull the whole thing out several inches. You can then access the 
end of the cable. If you can see the cable end, just pull on it with
pliers and the trunk will pop open. If the cable is broken inside its
sheath, an unlikely event, you may be able to trim away some sheath
to reveal the cable end. If all else fails, remove the license plate 
and carefully cut a hole into the trunk behind the plate and
reach in to release the trunk catch. If posible, examine another Alfa
first to determine the best spot to start cutting.
