I don't believe the external oiler kit was designed to 'better lubricate
the v^ heads'.

I believe it was designed to bypass (or supplement) the oil flow between
the block and the head, so as to eliminate head gasket failure which was
common in the early GTV6's with the early style head gaskets.

The head gaskets were redesigned a long time ago, and there are no
longer issues with blown head gaskets on Alfa v6 motors.

I wouldn't bother with the external oiler kit.
