Re: New top for '93 Spider
I recently purchased a top from Spider-Point in Germany.Shipping was expensive, but the exchange rate (or something..) works in our favor so that the top + shipping was still under $400.Cheaper than IAP and the other US suppliers, and the top is excellent.Looks exactly like OE. They also have a premium top which is moreexpensive, but I have no clue what it looks like. I was tempted to get one of their colored tops (I believe the sell Red, Blue, ect), but I wentwith good 'ol black. Shipping took about a week. Overall, good experience with them. If you give them a call, askfor Ralf--he speaks very good english. Hope this helps! Stacy'87 Spider Date: Wed, 7 May 2003 12:23:45 -0700

Subject: New top for '93 Spider
OK, now that we've established I'm keeping my '93 Spider (other guy
didn't want to trade) - I think It's high time I fixed the tear in the
rear window "glass" - by getting a whole new top.
Can anyone recommend a good brand/supplier, who can sell me a top that
looks and works just like the canvas one on my Spider? My car is a
Veloce - the top is in otherwise perfect shape, except for the rear
plastic window.
Thanks
- -Glenn
