Fred...

I had the honor of calling Fred a friend of mine.  I have not known a more 
person who knows as much, was willing to share that knowledge, and for most 
of his life.  He was a giant among us all.

One non Alfa thing I knew about Fred was that he flew B-24's in WWII around 
south east Asia.

I, too, will miss him dearly.
