GTV not level in rear

       I have spent a lot of time changing spring shims to get an Alfa level. 
  It gives a feeling of accomplishment to look at the car and see that it 
sits right.
       I think a better use of that time would be to get the corner weights 
equalized.  With you in the driving seat, the combined weights of the left 
front wheel and the right rear wheel should be as close as possible to the 
combined weights of the right front and the left rear.
       Think of a table with one short leg.  It will wobble and be harder to 
push in one direction than the other.  Same concept.
       My Alfa Spider race car has adjustable front spring perches to make 
adjustments easier.
