Re: American question: Ball-joint splitter

Hi Jon:

I'm in S. Florida, and many auto parts shops in this area have tools (like a ball-joint splitter) available for loan. The shops are either regional or national chains, so you should have something similar in your area. I'm talking about AutoZone, Advance Auto Parts, Pep Boys, etc.

Ok, same thing only different..

Does anyone know if the cheap Harbor Freight ball joint separator (screw
type, not the pickle forks) will work on Alfa ball joints and or tie rod
ends?

Too lazy to buy one and return it if it dosen't work..

legs up in stirrups" (i.e. wheels off and on four jack stands)
