Pedestrian safety feature

I propose an inexpensive way to increase pedestrian safety. After all the
best way to prevent secondary injury is to eliminate the initial collision.



Require automobile to emit a minimum level of exhaust noise even at idle so
the presence of cars are easily heard. Any suggestions on db level?



Too often today, a car approaches and the loudest thing is tire noise.



To assist the hearing impaired, require subwoofers to boom at a frequency
below most human hearing on all cars. Those with normal hearing will have
dual notices, subwoofer vibration and audible exhaust noise.
