RE: 68 Dueto heater blower motor, wiper motor

Brock -

I just repaired a frozen blower motor in a '67 GT, which I should be the
same motor as what is in your Spider.

In this case, the shaft was just frozen. I was able to disassemble the
motor, and lube the bearings in it.

The hard part is removing the damn thing. You pretty much have to remove the
whole blower motor/heater housing. Considering the amount of work required,
if a replacement is readily available, it might be wise to replace it.

YMMV,

Jeff

Can a frozen heater blower motor be repaired or is it better to track
down a new one? How about the wiper motor? Do parts on later cars work
with a 68 spider?
