alfa 164 serpentine belt tensioner - fiat bearing?

hi all, 

my previous request came up empty-handed, except for don, who sez he couldn't figure out what needed to be done.  bruce's parts bin sez they've sold five or six of these fiat bearings to 164 owners - anyone w/info on how to make it work?  last call before i return my fiat bearing to bruce, & buy the stock part...
