Re: 164 serpentine belt tensioner wheel - fiat replacement part?

Doug,

Never made it work. Realized that my problem was the clutch bearing so I
still have the bearing if you want it - free. This idea seems to have
started back in 1998 when someone posted to the old Digest that this fix was
put on their car at a Ferrari dealer. Maybe the dealer had a way to make it
work. Bought my bearing from Bruce's Parts Bin and they did not carry the
inner race to make it work on the Alfa.

Re the a/c clutch, you can purchase the Sanden clutch assembly separately.
I got a new complete unit from AlfaBill at a very good price. Have heard
that there are some rebuild sources but I think I would go with Bill again.

Hope this helps,

Don

again; does this mean ya made it work w/the fiat part? if so, how?
