the Autodeltas

Since Joe Cabbibo brought it up, I'll say it. Apologies if this has already
been discussed, but I've been away from the digest for a while.
The 166 Autodeltas are here (USA), in person, and for sale. I saw them
(sigh!), rode in one of them, and had a chance to look at them in detail.
I must say, John H, that the current rendition of the 166 is by far, the
most beautiful 4 door sedan on this earth, period. It does have a front and
rear and side skirts, it's lowered, has larger wheels and offset even wider.
The silver is just ..., I don't know, it took me a while to utter a word
when I saw it for the first time.
It is the most aesthetically pleasing car I've seen in a very long time.
It's roomy but compact, very well appointed inside, with a semigloss wood
finish that is just gorgeous. The leather is of very high quality (I don't
particularly like leather seats), and it smells like a *new Alfa*. Of
course GPS, phone, and all the new goodies. Engine is a 3.2 L V6.
It is indeed a very sexy (read attractive) car. I guess this one is a *she*
(remember the thread?). The only other car that comes a little close in my
opinion, is the Jaguar tin roof coupe, but far behind.
I understand there are only 2 outlets, one in New York, the other in Orange
County, Southern California. 3 years bumper to bumper warranty, costing
about 5 grand more than in Europe. h, if I had the money...
