Another head gasket tip

You may be tempted to clean remnants off the old head gasket with a power tool
and some sort of brush or abrasive.  DO NOT do that.

When I took Gortimer's head to be checked, our eminent local race machinist
told me he's seen plenty of aluminum heads abraded so much they needed
machining, by over zealous cleaning with power ScotchBrite.  Use the head on
your shoulders to save the one on your block.

I used Permatex Gasket Remover on this current engine; even in a cold shop it
bubbled a few minutes, and the remaining gasket was mush.  I'm sure others on
this digest have their own tricks, and hope they'll speak up.
