REPLY, Bosch Spider spark plugs, boots, and resistors? WHERE'S the love?



What the hell?  Are you in bed with Fred?  Nothing like responding out of 
context or missing the point entirely.

First, I'm certainly not 'blaming' the Lodge spark plugs.  Thought I would 
experiment with the NGK's just to satisfy my curiosity.  In the process I 
discovered a related ignition wire problem.  I agree, most likely the cause to 
begin with but I digress.

Second, I don't think a set of $1.50 spark plugs qualifies as a 
wasteful 'throwing' of parts at the problem.  I've ALWAYS used Lodge plugs but 
thought I just might try something different this one time.  I know Alfa owners 
are cheap but SIX dollars?  The horror of it all!

Third, I was merely passing along a few tidbits of Alfa stuff for the Digest 
and certainly did not expect to be slammed by your self-righteous 'rewrite' and 
posting of my original e-mail.
