Turn on ignition
Press code button (lower right on steering colume) 3-5 seconds.
Read codes
When finished reading (code(s) will repeat )
Hold down same button for 10-20 seconds

Will clear any codes.  If check engine light is for real problem, it will
return.

Another way to clear codes is to disconnect the batter for 10-20 seconds.
