re:Trunk & gas latch interior panel and door panel mounting clips

"The first is the always broken interior panel that holds the
latches for the gas filler door and the trunk. Mine's broken, and it
seems silly to pay about $100 for another plastic one that will quite
likely break too. "

As I recall, both Centerline and IAP sell this molding, and not for $100
either! My '91 has the original... if the cables/latches are kept lubed and
the screws not overtightened, the plastic piece should last a reasonable
number of years.

"My door panels are loose because the funky clips that hold the
panels to the door are broken. Where can I get replacements for these?"

Ah yes, at the top, right? The pin that loses its grip in the plastic
bushing? After searching in vain for something to grip that guy tighter, I
took a black finishing screw (w/integral washer), put it through a black
screw concealing cap, and screwed the #@&%$ thing down to the door sheet
metal. I then flipped the cap closed on the screw concealer, and it doesn't
look bad at all, IMHO. Look for them at Lowes or Ace Hardware, in fasteners.
As for the bottom edge, go to any car parts place and ask for upholstery
panel fasteners.
