Had a wonderful weekend driving around California's gold country along
hiway 49, but after an hour or two in the car I started to feel a little
queezy from the fumes of my 67 Sprint GTV. The car has a brand new
exhaust system, front to back so I don't suspect that. I wish I could
describe the odor--it's not obviously gasolene or exhuast fumes or hot
oil. Can't really put my finger [or nose] on the exact components of the
odor. Doesn't put me to sleep, but leaves the eyes slightly stinging,
and just a not healthy smell, after several hours.
I could be wrong, but seems like it doesn't really smell with all
windows closed, but when they're down, even on the hiway, I get some
fumes. Not sure how or where to check this out.
