re: 164 Metal Stepper Gears
hi wendell,
surely, ya don't wanna step up & pay ~$300 for another set of alfa/bosch stepper motors w/those crappy plastic gears in 'em, do ya? ;~) my metal gears from down-under have been in my stepper motors for some time now, & all's well... good instructions, easy-to-do... once the steppers are outta the car, that is... ;~) if ya wanna do it the easy way, thru the glovebox, (inwolwes cuttin a hole into the fascia behind the glovebox), lemme know, i got foto's somewhere. afaik, i tink one of 'em even got posted to the alfapro site...
good luck,
doug s.

Subject: 164 Metal Stepper Gears
Has anyone tried the metal stepper gears for 164s from AlfaPro
(http://www.alfapro.com/html/steppers.html)? Mine are stripped and I'm
considering replacing them with these metal ones.
