re: 1.8 Turbo

Looking at Luca's website, the intake plumbing on the 1.8 Turbo 
(Bosch-injected, by the way--I always thought L-Jet, but I read 
Motronic somewhere recently) is definitely taller and further forward 
than I remembered, but maybe removing the black plastic cover or 
using a piece of custom plumbing would clear the Spider hood?  Here's
