The glass isn't - it is plastic. Remove the instrument pod carefully by 
removing two screws, one at each end, then pull out a short distance and 
unscrew tach/speedo cables, oil pressure gauge attachment and electrical plug 
behind speedo plus two other single electrical connections. Remove pod from 
car to bench and by removing a few screws on the back the entire assembly 
comes out of its casing allowing you access to the plastic windows.
