adhesive question (1974 gtv molding attachment)

i've secured replacement moldings from Re-Originals for the small rubber
blocks at the top of the back edge of the vent windows (the ones that seal
the top front corner of the main window in each door.)

what kind of adhesives do folks use to hold these in place. i've already
demonstrated to myself that ordinary automotive silicone is completely
ineffective for this job.
