Just did that but got a '01 FWD with 5-speed which is much faster and gets 
better gas mileage than the Quattro. With the latest 170hp motor, it is one 
hell of a quick and great handling car -even better than my Milano once the 
turbo sets in. Low rpm lag can be a handicap but that will be cured by 
putting in a chip. Also a fair amount of FWD torque steer under load which I 
do not get with my 164LS. That car drives just beautifully under load and I 
have never experienced any FWD steer problems with it.
