Hi Tony:

I'm with you, except that the same few people (dare I name names?) who 
repeatedly, if not continually, want to flush their off-topic waste into 
the digest aren't about to admit that their postings are a "waste of 
bandwidth" or our time by simply typing <WOB> into a subject line.  Too 
bad, but that's life on the 'net.  I think by now I probably delete 3 of 4 
digests without even a glance, just because of all the off-topic posts.  I 
wish Richard could enforce the posting rules, but surely he's too busy, as 
are most of us that only post on-topic.  Anyone want to be a volunteer 
moderator?  Ever read the Alfa Racing list on Yahoo?  The messages are 
always verbose, on-topic, and get right to the point.

I do like your suggestion of getting the digest in individual message 
format.  I use Eudora as my email client, and it has some great filtering 
features, and I can even create a separate mailbox for digest mail.  I'm 
switching over tonight.  Thanks for the push in the right direction.
