Re: Mounting a V 6 to an engine stand

It will bolt right up IF you take the flywheel off. If not, you need
clearance for the long studs on the flywheel. I went to a scrap metal place
and picked up a short length of 6x6 square tube for $2. A little bit with a
torch and a welder and I had adapters to mount the engine with flywheel
clearance. One of those same adapters is now being used to hang my son's
RX7 motor off the same stand. Not bad for $2!
